**Job Overview**

The Medical Evidence Processor will be responsible for managing all tasks that support the pre and post-return of medical evidence.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Responsible for triaging and actioning daily post
- Processing Invoices
- Uploading returned medical reports onto case management system
- Triaging returned medical evidence prior to upload
- Filing and securely discarding of manual reports received via post, in accordance with the retention guidelines
- Accurately scanning returned medical evidence
- Disposing of confidential materials
- Posting all outgoing medical report requests
- Processing of advanced payments
- Managing fee disputes
- Working to daily, weekly and group targets and SLA’s.

**Preferred skills and experience**
- Experience of working in the insurance or health care sector is desirable
- Accustomed to working in a call centre environment and making a high number of outbound calls, working in line with daily, weekly and group targets and SLA’s.
- Good telephone manner and communication skills
- Good multitasking skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise your workload to the required standard and within the required timescales
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proactive and able to use initiative
- Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Good organisation skills

Duties may change and vary slightly in accordance with business needs

Following a successful probationary period, the role will be made permanent.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.50 per year
