Contracts Assistant

**Job Description**:
**Contracts Assistant** to join our talented team at our office located in
**Manchester, United Kingdom**.
In this role, you will support the EMEA Contracts and Risk function to ensure effective management of contract-related documents and procedures. Additionally, you will support process improvement activities on an ongoing basis.
What You'll Do
- Administer contracts and due diligence documents in accordance with departmental SOPs, policies, and project-specific requirements.
- Act as quality assurance (QA) check on all contracts and purchase orders.
- Ensure all contract documents are sent/returned within the required timeframes and that all documents have been executed by the proper authorities within the organization
- Detect and correct potential risks or delays in contract submissions
- Stay up-to-date with organizational changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed
- Ensure all deadlines and conditions are described on contracts and purchase orders
- Maintain an organized system of physical and digital records

Qualifications & Requirements:
- BS degree in Business Administration; additional experience in a contracts or legal field would be an advantage.
- The role requires the discreet handling of confidential information.
- Experience in managing such information would also be a positive distinction.
- Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager, or relevant role.
- Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, and external partners.
Safety
- The role is office-based.
- This role may require infrequent limited travel.
- Physical requirements are light office administrative duties as required.
