My Legal Sector client requires a Sales Ledger and Billings Clerk to join their accounting team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager and Assistant Accountant, responsibilities will include all aspects of sales ledger and billing duties for a busy Solicitors Practice. Applicants will require relevant Sales ledger (specifically billing) experience ideallygained within the legal sector.

- Monitoring the sales ledger inbox to determine which requests to prioritise
- Drafting sales ledger invoices and bills in accordance with the firm’s practices and SRA regulations
- Management of any follow up queries from fee earners in relation to their billing requests
- Management and resolution of clients billings queries
- Preparation of reconciliations, reports and ad hoc information as reasonably requested.
- Support with any wider finance duties as required by the Finance Manager

**Requirements**:

- 12 Months + Billings or sales ledger experience - legal sector experience is highly advantageous although not essential
- Excellent computerised system and excel skills - 3 Elite experience is highly advantageous although not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A high degree of attention to details
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work to target in a fast paced environment
- Understanding of legal billings processes and SRA Accounting rules is highly advantageous
