We are an export and wholesale company based in Southall, West London. We have been trading for over 20 years and are passionate about FMCG. Our customer base spans over 65 countries, and we distribute and represent many top British and European food and beverage companies. An exciting position has become available for a full time or part time HR & Office Assistant to join the team.
**Role responsibilities & requirements**
- Providing clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- Conducting initial orientation to new hires
- Sitting in HR meetings and coordinating management-employee communications
- Keeping up to date with the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency.
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department.
- Assisting other departments with ad-hoc tasks.
- General office administrative tasks
**Skills required**
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communications skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
