Industrial Recruitment Solutions ltd (IRS) are urgently recruiting purchasing administrator for a forward thinking manufacturing business based in Oldbury / Smethwick area.

Working Hours Monday to Friday 0800-1630, x40 hours per week.

This role will consist of;
- To ensure the raising of purchase orders are completed as per our company policy
- Processing daily purchase orders requests, ensuring authorisation is received and the order specification is correctly understood before raising orders
- GRN delivery notes on E10
- Stock control of consumables eg PPE, stationery
- Completing in-house checks for all new suppliers and set up suppliers on E10
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and identifying requirements
- Investigating invoice queries for assignment to relevant person. Regular review of query reports with follow up actions recorded
- Liaise with Goods-In / Stores staff to ensure delivery notes are correctly matched, receipted and passed to finance.
- To ensure purchase systems records are accurate and maintained
- Carry out any ad hoc duties as required by your line manager.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in purchasing role/function
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
- Knowledge of QHSE Legislation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Proven experience to work as part of a team.
- Good mathematical skills with ability to manipulate spreadsheet data
- Displays a good attitude towards work, and the aims and objectives of the company.

Holds or are willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent or two years’ experience working in an administration environment.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
