Partnering Health Group are an established and expanding healthcare organisation responsible for providing a variety of urgent and primary health care services across Hampshire.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Governance team as a **Quality and Governance Facilitator**, based at our head offices in Whiteley**. **You may be expected to travel across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to our services.

**The Role**:
As a **Quality and Governance Facilitator** you will be working as part of the Clinical & Quality team. To facilitate managers to evidence compliance with robust governance processes such as incident reporting, risk and complaints management to ensure the safety of our services. You will promote shared learning and quality initiatives, and work to ensure these are embedded in practice, demonstrating a well-led organisation.

**Hours**: You will join us on an part time, permanent basis. Part time up to 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

**Quality and Governance Facilitator Duties & Responsibilities**:

- To maintain internal processes and communication systems that support the Clinical and Quality Directorate team to deliver an integrated governance function. This ensures that PHL can demonstrate that its services are Safe, Effective, Caring, Well led and Responsive.
- Work with the Governance Managers to ensure systems and processes are in place which assure that all aspects of clinical risk are managed appropriately at every level.
- This includes incident and complaint reporting and monitoring and analysing data for trends.
- Schedule, facilitate monthly Safeguarding Committee, Policy Review Group and Medicines Management meetings, preparing case notes, taking minutes, and tracking any actions arising, ensuring these are followed up in time for following meetings.
- Support services with training and resources to use Datix Incident Reporting System effectively and accurately.
- To provide operational advice to patients, relatives, and carers, and, if necessary, refer enquiries on to the relevant person to support their enquiry.

**Quality and Governance Facilitator Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to manage audits and ensuring service compliance to an audit schedule and identifying trends.
- Ability to prepare and produce concise yet insightful communications and reports for dissemination to stakeholders and colleagues as required.
- Efficient skills in Microsoft Office, databases and the ability to use internal Clinical Systems once trained.
- Experience of working closely with people, in challenging situations, demonstrating utmost respect, dignity and empathy.
- Knowledge of Governance principles and Quality Improvement cycles.
- Knowledge of investigating incidents and complaints, and the importance of understanding patient centred outcomes and complaint responses.
- Experience of communicating directly and confidently with complainants.
