Property Recruitment Company are thrilled to be working with a Housing Organisation to recruit a **Temporary Home Ownership Officer** based in London.

**Contract**: 3 - 6 Months Temporary Contract

**Rate**: £21.00ph - £25.00ph

**Hours**: 35 hours p/w

**Location**: London / Hybrid

Your duties will also include collecting rent and service fees, controlling defects, ordering and managing repairs, maintaining estates, and resolving any tenancy-related or community-related issues that may arise

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will be the main point of contact for homeowners within your patch
- Manage the company's contractual responsibilities to clients, such as leases and rents for shared ownership.
- Carry out site inspections of properties
- All aspects of engagement and consultation with residents (including section 20)
- Manage service charge accounts, collect rent and service fees, and take appropriate action to recover arrears, including presenting cases to the courts where necessary.
- Handling some income collection
- Service charges including setting budgets, managing costs and reconciling accounts.
- Ensure homeowner enquiries are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner
- Ensure blocks and estates are maintained and in good condition
- Diagnose and report any repairs within your patch

**Skills/Experience**:

- Expertise in leasehold management and knowledge of the affordable housing market.
- Have experience within housing, estate, or block management
- Be very customer focused in delivering excellent customer service
- Experienced in working within a customer service environment
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
