Alfred Newton Solicitors are seeking a full time Receptionist/Administrator for their busy head office based in Stockport.

**The successful applicant's duties will include;**
- To provide reception and administrative support to fee earners at the Stockport office.
- Handling telephone enquiries, making appointments and taking messages.
- Greeting clients that attend the office.
- Copying, scanning and faxing and other general administration work.
- Assisting a senior member of staff in opening and distributing the post.
- Scanning the firms post on a daily basis and linking to the relevant case file.
- Audio typing.

**Skills required;**
- Strong typing skills
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
- A good standard of education and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- The ability to work on one’s own initiative
- The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team
- Some legal experience is preferred.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.15pm.

National minimum wage paid.

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
