Our client is a SME that supplies products to the UKs construction and civil engineering sectors. Due to organic growth, they are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team. This will be an office based role with flexibility for homeworking for 2-3 days a week.

As Management Accountant you will be the sole finance contact for the Nottinghamshire site and you will oversee the businesses day to day finances. Reporting into the MD, you’ll work extremely closely with the companies existing accounting firm to streamlineand improve accounting processes.

Key duties will include:

- Producing month end and annual reports to send over to the parent company
- Reporting on profit and loss
- Assisting in the production of budgets and forecasts
- Ensuring the companies accounting system (SAGE) is kept up to date
- Investigating any discrepancies
- Undertaking CIS returns

As you would be the sole finance contact based at this site, a willingness to be involved in all areas of accounting and finance is essential.
- Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience
- Able to work independently
- Experienced in using SAGE and Excel

Previous experience of working within a small-medium sized business would be advantageous but not essential. Training and a handover period will be incorporated.

Core hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Annual holiday entitlement is 25 days + stats. Flexible working is offered.
