Our SEND Resolutions Team are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient SEND Resolutions Officer who is focused on strengthening relationships with our local families.

**About the role**:
The SEND Resolutions Team are a small friendly team who pride ourselves on working closely with families and other agencies to reach positive outcomes for our children and young people of Buckinghamshire.

You will oversee all aspects of the compliments and complaints, mediation, and tribunal work for the Integrated SEND Service. This will also include close liaison with colleagues in our legal department.

You will work closely with our parents/carers and young people with the aim of reaching a resolution on any areas of dispute. However, on occasions where this is not possible you will be expected to fully participate in the tribunal process and will attend the SEND Tribunal representing the Local Authority.

You will work closely with managers and officers ensuring excellent multi-agency working

You will ensure these areas of work are effectively managed, disseminate learning and make recommendations to the service to support improved practice.

**About you**:
You will be educated to degree standard or equivalent professional experience in this area and have experience with advocacy or similar.

You will be caring and champion customer service.

You will have substantial relevant experience of working within the SEND service or a similar professional area with evidence of work responsibilities appropriate to this role.

SENDIST Appeal and Tribunal process and Single Route of Redress knowledge is essential to the role as is the ability to undertake complaint investigations to a high standard
