**Children's Residential Care Officer**

**Salary**:£14.10 per hour - £27,129 per annum (+ sleep allowance + enhanced overtime rate) Welcome bonus of up to £350
**Location**: Darlington
**Hours**: Full and part time roles available over a 7-day rota

We are looking for people who are passionate and enthusiastic about enhancing the lives of children and young people in our care. As one of our Residential Care Officers, you will support children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs to maintain a healthy lifestyle by advising, educating and promoting positive choices. You will also be responsible for helping us to deliver high quality residential provision to maintain our Ofsted rating of Outstanding.

Ideally, you will have experience of working in children’s residential care or possess transferable skills from a similar role. However, it is more important that your values align with those of our charity and the requirements of Ofsted and that you have integrity and a strong desire to help others.As an integral part of our care team, you will immediately benefit from our structured training programme and be fully supported to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People if you don’t already hold this qualification.
