We are working with a long-standing client of Si Recruitment located in Thirsk, North Yorkshire who is looking to appoint a Planning Administrator to join their successful team on a full-time, permanent basis.

We are looking for a Production Planner to organise production according to demand and quality standards. They will be the one to ensure our products are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner. You must also be flexible with a 'can do’attitude to learn new skills and processes as the business continues to evolve.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate production workflow for multiple products
- Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports
- Keep paperwork organised
- Liaise with Customer Service team, Warehouse and Purchasing team to confirm customer requirements

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as production planner would be desirable
- Previous knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Good at maths and statistics
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch break
