A reporting finance role, acting as the key interface between the Marella Finance team, UK FP&A, Group FP&A, Investor Relations and accounting teams for all financial reporting aspects of the Marella. This role has a dotted line into the Head of Cruise Finance and will be pivotal in ensuring the wider organisation understands performance and out-turn of Marella Cruises. This role will also provide the MD of Marella Cruises with clear insight,

Accountable for all areas of financial performance reporting including month-end reporting, management accounts, variance analysis including management of P&Ls across multiple Cruise entities in SAP through to HFM. The Marella financial result is reported at multiple P&L levels for different stakeholders operating in a matrix environment. The role will ensure financial integrity of SAP and HFM Reporting of individual ship performance to aid Commercial decision making across the Marella Fleet. Management of cash-flow reporting and monitoring of hedge positions to facilitate fuel and FX hedging decisions. Drive efficiency and process improvements across the production of complex Marella financial result.

ABOUT THE JOB
Production of business performance packs. This role will be responsible for producing performance updates which clearly articulating Marella’s performance to key stakeholders. These key stakeholders are UK FP&A, Group FP&A, Cruise Board, UK and Group Board. KPIs - Responsible for capturing and accuracy of key KPIs plus assessing performance compared to other cruise lines including TUI Cruises. Budgeting / Forecasting. Lead the annual budget process for Marella, ensuring a robust process, including challenge and review where appropriate. You will oversee the collation and reporting of the P&L, risk and opps, capex and cashflow, and lead the monthly forecasting of these elements, ensuring timelines and quality of information from the team. Strategic Planning : You will support the Finance Business Partner in producing a 3-year strategic tour operator plan and a robust annual budget, with detailed analysis and commentary on all movements. You will work closely with the finance manager trading & product to support the submission of forecasts and provide key explanations of variances to forecast. Cost base and margin integrity : You will be responsible for ensuring provision of accurate seasonal forecasts for loading into commercial margins (which in turn is used to monitor season on season margin to assess Trading performance. Responsible for ensuring seasonal margin by ship is reconciled to forecast Change and Transformation: The role will drive improvements in Balance sheet, working capital and Cashflow reporting out of HFM and play a key role in alignment and process improvements across UK finance The role is also expected to drive efficiencies across the reporting cycle. COSO: Manage integrity and provision of external financial results with group investor relations teams Team: You will be responsible for the management and development a reporting analyst
