ABOUT THE JOB
Lead the strategy for all of Marella Cruises’ digital channels, including our website, app, Cruise Control (ancillary booking platform), API development, customer account and ‘Manage My Booking’ system. Create the Digital Experience Vision and Strategy using stimulus such as the cruise customer strategy, commercial priorities, user needs, stakeholders’ needs and external best practice. Own and communicate the digital customer journey roadmap, working with the Marella Cruises Product Owner and key stakeholders to prioritise and deliver the features that will increase engagement, conversion and other KPIs. Ensure Marella’s product backlog maintains a healthy balance between new/innovative capabilities and fixing current pain points. Oversee all digital governance, including scope definition, prioritisation, dependency mapping, stakeholder approval, comms and implementation planning. Work with Marella Cruises stakeholders to generate new ideas and ensure all stakeholders are updated on a regular basis. Perform analysis to ensure that all planned digital product and features have a clear line of sight to business value and are prioritised to deliver maximum commercial and customer benefit from development time. Use customer and operational feedback to fix pain points, react to market changes and foster a user-centric mindset to all digital developments. Work with the Trading and Onboard Revenue teams for commercial understanding and to drive digital developments that will improve commercial performance. Generate positive relationships with a variety of complex and senior stakeholders in business areas across Marella, TUI Group & TUI UK, building strong working relationships. Ensure awareness and alignment of the roadmaps impacting Marella across the wider business. Gain and maintain an expert understanding of the cruise industry, TUI’s business, Marella’s customer segments and behaviors, and our drivers of value and wider dynamics in each source market and our competitors. Carry out regular analysis of competitor websites and other digital platforms to ensure we’re driving best in class.ABOUT YOU
Expert in digital customer experience, with experience of shaping digital product strategy and delivering improvements. An effective communicator & influencer that can story-tell and engage various audiences Solid expertise in business understanding, product discovery, planning and development with a strong product mindset. Demonstrated experience in setting clear KPIs, OKRs and goals for yourself and your team. Customer and commercially focused with passion for operational excellence. Able to contribute to making clear and well-thought recommendations to influence decisions. Good commercial and decision-making skills, able to input into Ideation and Roadmaps.
