**The role**:
Cardinal Newman Catholic High School require a committed and innovative Administration Officer (with responsibility for finance & reception) to join our vibrant, ambitious and caring school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated professional to be part of very successful administrative team. The administration officer will be responsible to the Business Manager in terms of inputting of invoices and order, and to the Office Manager for all reception duties.

**Purpose of the post**:

- To provide administrative support to the Business Manager through the processing and inputting of orders and invoices.
- To work with the Business Manager to ensure financial procedures are followed and operational processes are implemented that achieve efficiency and best value for the school.
- To fulfil reception duties, answering telephone calls from parents, carers and external agencies, and responding to student and staff queries.
- To provide First Aid to students and staff and maintain First Aid records and materials.

**Specific responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the ordering of all goods and services, and the maintenance of appropriate records and checks using the SIMS FMS account system.
- Assisting with checking and processing of all invoices.
- Maintaining filing records to audit standard for finance information.
- Answering incoming telephone calls to school and direct these calls to the appropriate school contact/department.
- Responding to staff and student queries at reception.
- Signing in visitors ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
- Answering the queries of students in-house and provide first aid when required, maintaining First Aid supplies and records.
