Patient Flow Co-ordinator

The patient flow team have the responsibility of the management of the day-to-day bed capacity and movements throughout the Children's Hospital for Wales.

We have an opportunity for a permanent Band 7 Patient Flow Coordinator.

The will need to function both autonomously and within a team of patient flow and ward managers to ensure timely flow of patients throughout the children's hospital.

The post will involve the individual being a key decision maker, working alongside the senior nurses to ensure appropriate allocation of resources.

The post holder will have strong leadership skills and provide help and support to the ward Sisters in ensuring robust processes are in place to promote effective, timely and appropriate patient flow.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
