We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join our established client within the education sector. This role is term time only with flexible working hours. Permanent and fixed term contract roles available, part-time or full-time.

As the Learning Support Assistant, you will be providing additional support to students, some with complex needs and behaviours.

Your main duties will be:

- To support students in their learning as directed by the teaching staff.
- To support students on a one-to-one basis.
- To keep appropriate records.
- To assist with preparation for practical sessions, tidy the classroom and return any equipment as appropriate to storage areas. To
- in the supervision of students during breaks.
- Assist in administrative tasks.
- To liaise with team leaders over any issues regarding or raised by the student.
- To attend staff and review meetings.

As the Learning Support Assistant, you will be patient and committed to helping the students learn and develop. You will require a good level of literacy and numeracy as well as IT skills. Experience supporting people with difficulties and/ or disabilities would be advantageous.
