Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a positive impact on someone's life? We are currently seeking Healthcare Assistants to provide personalised support and care for a young boy in Nottingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference and help enhance the quality of life for an individual with unique needs.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is 8 years old and lives at home with his loving family and pets in Nottingham, he requires care throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis.

We are looking for engaging individuals who are happy to assist him to enjoy his hobbies and interests such as arts and crafts, creating models, and playing with his toy cars. He likes to read books with his care team and watch TV; he especially enjoys watching YouTube.

Throughout the day you will provide specialised care attending to his complex and clinical needs when required. Your role will include accompanying him to his educational setting engaging with his learning and development and encouraging play and social interaction.

Throughout the night you will be assisting with repositioning and any clinical interventions. You will need to be vigilant, make close observations, and offer reassurance and comfort to settle him back to sleep if he wakes.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months of previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling

**Desirable Experience**
- Tracheostomy Care
- Ventilator Management
- Oral Suctioning
- Cough Assist
- Nebuliser Care

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time
- Days: 8:15am-3:45pm
- Nights
- 8pm - 8am
- Must be flexible to work both days and nights

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£97.50 approx. per 7.5-hour shift)

Weeknights: £14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Saturday: £14.50 per hour (£174 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Sunday: £14.50 per hour (£174 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £16.00 per hour (£192 approx. per 12-hour shift)
