**Job description**:
**Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?**

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a child with complex care needs on a part-time basis.

We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support, and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service lives at home with his family and loving pets in Nottingham and requires care throughout the day and night.

He enjoys playtime activities such as arts and crafts, creating models, and playing with his toy cars. During the day he will be attending school but when at home he likes to read books and watch TV; he especially enjoys watching YouTube.

His care team will need to encourage social play and personal development as and when needed.

He has a tracheostomy in place and communicates his wants and needs to his dedicated care team.

Throughout the night you will be assisting with repositioning and any clinical interventions.

You will need to be vigilant to make sure his ventilation tubes and equipment are not being obstructed, as well as offer reassurance to comfort and settle him back to sleep.

Previous experience in working a waking night role is desirable, however, is not essential.

Our ideal applicant will have a genuine interest in working with children and be happy to engage and interact in the things he enjoys.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months of previous care experience

- Ventilator Management
- Oral Suctioning
- Cough Assist
- Nebuliser Care

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part-Time
- Days 8.15am-3.30mpm
- Nights
- 8pm - 8am

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays : £12.50 per hour (£89.37 approx. per shift)

Weeknights : £13.00 per hour(£156 approx. per shift)

Saturday : £13.50 per hour(£162 approx. per shift)

Sunday : £14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per shift)

Bank Holiday : £15.00 per hour(£180 approx. per shift)
