Bristol, United Kingdom Bristol City Council Full time

**Full Time, Permanent
We are looking to recruit a Full Time Site Permissions Officer.

Bristol City Council’s Site Permissions Officers work within the City Events team to support the development and delivery of city-wide cultural activities ranging from events and festivals and promotional activity.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, driven, and a confident communicator with previous experience of events and festival management. You will join a small team of dedicated and enthusiastic people who have a range of backgrounds and experience working across culture, arts, festivals, events and the creative industries.

You will be expected to work in a fast-paced team alongside other Site Permissions and Events officers, to liaise with Bristol’s Safety Advisory Group and a range of other stakeholders across the city to elevate, support and facilitate the city’s internationally renowned events and festivals diary planning.

You will be expected to oversee the set-up/build and on-site event delivery as well as post event debriefs with events in the city.

A systematic and rigorous approach will need to be applied to administration processes to ensure events are delivered safely and successfully and in accordance with Bristol City Council’s Events policy and procedures.

This role will suit someone who is passionate about festivals and events and who has experience working on outdoor public-facing events both community and commercial, someone with strong outdoor operational skills and the ability to demonstrable basic health and safety knowledge.

This role will be a mixture of office and home working. You will be based at our Temple Street offices. We are committed to providing a safe and accessible space for staff. Flexible working is permitted, and this role is required to work evenings and weekends during the year.

If this sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you.
