Production Planner

Are you someone who is passionate about workload planning?

At our PAM fabrication facility in Ilkeston, we are looking for **Production Planner** to be part of our talented Fabricated Pipe Plant Team**, **tasked with scheduling work for the 3 production lines.

As Production Planner, you will be responsible for allocating & booking stock, providing lead time quotations, and supporting the Operational Leadership team with relevant information.

**PAM** is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brands and is the premier supplier of ductile iron and cast-iron products. Our product range is extensive and includes cast-iron piping, fittings, valves, drainage systems, water/sewer pipelines, access covers and gratings. We supply to some of the UK's key utilities, telecoms, highways, civil engineering, construction, and housing companies.

This is a key role which involves daily liaison with commercial departments and stock ground as well as the plant operational team. Agility is a key element to provide timely responses to enquiries and the ability to adapt and communicate plans to meet changing priorities.

Due to the nature of the role, this will be a fully site-based position.
**Is this job for you?**
Our operation is unique so training and support will be provided. Experience of planning or workload scheduling is advantageous, but more importantly you’ll need to:

- Be flexible and willing to learn a variety of different tasks.
- Have the ability to organise and plan short-, medium
- and long-term activities.
- Have brilliant organisation skills to make sure you’re prioritising the right tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- Understand customer needs and operational capability, managing expectations accordingly.
- Be a confident communicator both written and verbally.
- To be successful, you will need to demonstrate strong Excel skills with the ability to write nested and advanced formulae.
