**Overview**

We are looking to recruit an Inventory Controller to join our Operations Support Team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all stocks and related systems on site thereby assisting the operations and any third-party contract to achieve their service level targets, minimising financial loss to both parties.

Working hours of 46 hours per week, Any five days from seven.

**How will you contribute?**
- Managing Pick Face e.g., moving products in/out of pick face, discontinued stock/new products.
- Daily liaison with customer and hauliers regarding stock issues both verbal and written communications
- Manual stock checking and PI counting
- Report writing and relevant analysis with suggestions for corrective actions / improvements.
- Stock reconciliation between EWM and SAP systems.
- Automated and manual site pallet control
- Investigation of all stock related issues and analysing root cause before providing feedback to Stock & Systems Manager and Customer as appropriate.
- Secondary stock recovery
- Sample processing
- Suggesting ideas for improvement to existing processes to improve efficiency and output
- Advocate excellent quality standards at the site by coaching and mentoring best proactive approaches to all colleagues and continually encourage improvement.
- Always maintain own and others Health and Safety in the Workplace, ensuring reasonable care and attention is taken so as not to jeopardise own and others welfare
- Develop 5S principles in working area and ensure these are maintained.
- Review working processes to reduce waste, increase productivity and standardisation.
- Always execute a positive customer experience.
- Maintain site hygiene and housekeeping to a high standard.

**What will you bring?**
- Good numeracy and literacy skills e.g. GCSE level or above
- Experience of working in a 3PL environment
- Experience of working to standardised processes using bespoke software and systems.
- Experience of working in a target driven environment
- Able to interpret and deliver customer expectations
- Experience of multi-user site
- Understanding of Health and Safety guidelines in an Operational Environment.
- Able to work using own initiative
- Effective Time Management
- Prioritising workload to meet customer and management expectations
- Working to high quality standards
- Working to targets and deadlines
