**How you’ll spend your time**_**:_
- Management of a small team of finance business partners and reporting accountants
- Manage the month-end reporting cycle across the group, from developing the timetable to the conclusion of all deliverables. This includes providing transparent expectations and timetables for submissions across the group as well as robust and efficient processes and controls for collation and consolidation of the data to ensure completeness and accuracy of the results.
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated monthly accounts
- Development of accurate and timely cashflow reporting and forecasting.
- Ensure financial analysis and constructive challenge of the results is performed prior to presentation of the reports.
- Produce timely and informative performance reports and dashboards (including financial and non-financial key performance indicators) for internal stakeholders, including Group Executive, Group, other boards and the Chief Operating Officer.
- Provide senior finance business partnering support to budget holders. This includes the provision of analysis of results, support managing their spend within budget and strategic finance input into business-wide initiatives. This also includes ensuring delivery, through the team, of cost centre reviews and monthly meetings with key business stakeholders
- Champion a culture of continuous process and control efficiency and improvement. This will include activities to enable the reduction in working days to close and report on month end.
- Ad hoc financial reporting support for business initiatives

**This opportunity will be great for you if**
- You are a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- You have experience leading the delivery of monthly financial and non-financial performance reporting
- You have experience with consolidation accounts for complex Group entities
- You are passionate about pro-actively leading teams through change initiatives to enable process efficiencies and control improvements
- You have team management experience
- You are an advanced Excel user
- You have the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels
