Norton Barton Food Village, based just outside Bude, is a collection of Artisan Food producers selling to a range of farm shops and delicatessens nationally. Our products are produced by hand and dispatched from the farm. We currently produce rillettes and pates, salamis, cheese, savoury biscuits, rums and gins.
**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Sales Administrator to join our team. The Sales Administrator will provide administrative support to the sales team and ensure smooth operations of the sales department. This role requires excellent time management skills, strong administrative abilities, and effective communication skills.
**Responsibilities**:
**New Business**
- Calling prospective customers to introduce Norton Barton and what we do
- Arranging for sample boxes to be sent out
- Understanding the customers, their businesses and needs and relaying this back to the rest of the team
- Following up to understand general feedback and suitability of the products
- Arranging first orders
- Maintaining CRM documents and reporting back on weekly sales team calls
**Existing Business**
- Reviewing existing customer’s historical orders and calling for an order
- Understanding the customers, their businesses and needs and relaying this back to the rest of the team and using this to build strong relationships
- Identifying lapsed customers and opportunities to upsell other products and brands
- Arranging orders and samples of new products where appropriate
- Ability to deal with complaints if they arise.

- Confident on the phone including making cold calls
- Personable & empathetic
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- A self-starter
Monday to Friday, 9 - 2 (25 hours per week). In person.
Due to our remote location you will need to be able to drive or have access to a vehicle.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
