**Role responsibilities**

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Production Planner join our Train Planning team on a permanent basis.

The role of the Production Planner will involve working as part of a team to deliver an amended weekly timetable bid, with rolling stock and traincrew diagrams to prepare robust, effective and customer friendly plans.

The Production Planner will liaise across multiple departments internally, as well as externally with key stakeholders and other TOCs, in line with the requirements of industry regulations and timescale to meet business objectives.

We are looking for motivated individuals who are keen to progress with a career within Train Planning. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You must have ability to communicate and build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders internally and externally and be able to demonstrate strong IT skills. Pervious experience in a railway environment is not essential.

Essential requirements to be considered for this role:

- Experience of achieving deadlines and maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Excellent IT literacy
- Ability to communicate and build positive relationships
- Strong problem-solving skills

**Welsh Language Skills**
