We have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Support & Admin to join our busy Shared Service Centre.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will carry out regular and ad-hoc tasks in a timely manner. This will include payment runs, user and supplier maintenance, invoice processing and other ledger tasks as required.

Other responsibilities will include making sure systems and procedures are operating efficiently in the department.

This position is a slight move away from a traditional accounts payable clerk role with responsibility for the important areas of payments and maintenance and a focus on ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on schedule. The role is stand alone in terms of the various operational and even project duties involved.

To succeed in the role, you must be able to build and maintain positive relationships with internal customers and team members. You must have the ability to demonstrate a flexible, proactive and professional attitude to all areas of work, supporting both team and individual initiatives in a positive manner. Experience of payment runs and supplier maintenance is essential as is attention to detail and a desire to work in a motivated and positive team.
