Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant Job Description
This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week from our Harrogate Office, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
As a Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining robust accounts payable controls and processes.
- Working closely with the Management Accountants, Finance Director, and operations teams.
- Processing supplier invoices, reviewing supplier statements, and managing payment runs.
- Onboarding suppliers and maintaining purchase order software.
- Addressing complex supplier queries and verifying supplier accounts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts payable and purchase ledger roles.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Familiarity with finance computer software, preferably Xero.
Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.
