This is a new post combining the previous UCL NIHR BioResource and Biobank Coordinator role and a new role for an exciting initiative that will support the development of UCLH into a genomically
- and informatically
- led hospital, revolutionising the way we offer the patients to engage in scientific research wherever they are in their care pathway.

Key duties/responsibilities include leading the development of new robust pathways for recruitment, electronic consenting, sample acquisition, transport, processing and retrieval; supporting the development of a "Hearts and Minds" PPIE informed approach to genetic consenting and recruitment and recruiting, developing and supporting a team to support delivery of these aims.

The post holder will hold a degree or equivalent experience in a scientific discipline and have a proven track record in initiating, managing and completing medical research programmes successfully. Ideally the post holder should have advanced database management and report generation skills and a history of successful project management including working within regulatory frameworks.
