An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Technical Services Team as a Technical Services Assistant based in Darlington, hybrid working, on a permanent basis.

**The role**

As a Technical Services Assistant you will be responsible for providing pensions technical support to the Technical Services team as well as other areas of the business, to help fulfil our mission. The role supports the completion of team processes, such as coordinating scheme rule changes and completion of Scheme Returns for the Pensions Regulator, as well as supporting complex queries that come into the team from the wider business.

**The Person**

We are looking for someone who has good analytical, communication and organisational skills with experience of working within the pension industry and is keen to build their knowledge of rule-based and legislative requirements. You will preferably be studying for an APMI qualification, or similar, or be willing to work towards such a qualification.

To be successful in this role you will understand the importance of attention to detail and focusing on the accuracy and quality of work. You will take ownership and accountability of your work, managing delivery expectations and balancing priorities. You will be a good collaborator, keen to share your knowledge with, and learn from, team colleagues to support wider teams across the business.
