The purpose of this role is to help ISS become the world’s greatest service organisation by providing service performance facilitating our customers’ purpose through people empowerment.

The Technical Services Team Leader will Supervise and lead the Operations & Maintenance Team and be responsible for implementing the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of site maintenance activities.

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organisation's policies and applicable laws, as provided including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The emphasis is on providing a world class building services maintenance service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform supervisory functions common to a facility maintenance and utility plant operations organisation
- Review and evaluate performance and ensure quality standards are being met
- Take corrective action to resolve problems
- Understand the Owner’s building operations rules for the building(s) under care and as provided by the Technical Service Manager and/or Key Account Director
- Work with Technical Services Manager to ensure efficient utilisation of staff
- Make Task assignments as needed for Work Tickets and Preventative Maintenance Work Orders for the O&M Team
- Solve problems within procedural limitations
- Ensure staff complete PM’s and work orders as scheduled each month

**Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years experience of Technical Services in a building services environment - preferably in integrated facilities management within Commercial Property, Financial Services, Manufacturing and Industry or Healthcare
- C&G, NVQ or Level 3 Diploma Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- IoSH Managing or Working Safely
- Strong knowledge of Work Order Control procedures and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
- Experience with subcontractor and vendor contract management
- Experience with managing key performance indicators as provided by Technical Manager
- Experience with capacity planning and reporting
