holder will provide a friendly, efficient and patient focused reception
and administration service to Patient Transport Service users and
other stakeholders. Key to the role is the provision of an appropriate
level of customer support that engenders customer satisfaction and
confidence in the Trust.

To support the continued development of the service, an opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work part time as a Patient Flow Assistant (PFA) within the Leeds area.

The ability to communicate on all levels is essential and the successful applicant must be able to work on their own or as part of a team and use their initiative.

The Yorkshire Ambulance Service Patient Transport Service (PTS) is one of the largest in England with PTS contracts to the value of £28 million pounds.

We have a fleet of more than 370 vehicles, employ over 800 team members and have around 200 volunteers.

To monitor and supervise the performance of Patient Transport staff and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high-quality service standards to the Trust’s patients and Commissioners. Responsible for the treatment, care and safe transportation of patients, carrying out those responsibilities in a
reliable and professional manner whilst adhering to the policies and standards inherent within the Trust.

Work within a geographical area of Patient Transport Services as part of the local management team.
