Mechanical Design Engineer - Manufacturing**
**LOCATION:

Clitheroe**
**SALARY:

- Circa £35’000 - £38’000 dependant on experience**

We are currently searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team supporting the customer experience globally from start to finish. A mix of Mechanical Design and Project Engineering Management exposure is ideal.

Someone who loves their job and is proud of the results they can and will deliver. Working closelywith customers is key, communicating with them throughout the design, build and fit processes.
**Mechanical Design Engineer key skills**:

- Hands on approach is absolutely key.
- Design engineering experience, managing projects for dry and solid materials is key.
- Customer exposure and experience on site.
- Thorough admin and reporting skills.
- Ideally with some exposure to dry powder/dry product handling. (Powder/Dry experience could be from the Food/ waste recycling/ confectionery / pharmaceutical /Paint/Bakery or Building industry.)

**Mechanical Design Engineer attributes**:

- Educated to degree level with mechanical engineering degree.
- Experience of 3D CAD (Solidworks).
- Ability to balance many tasks at the same time. Time management is key.
- Positive attitude and manner.
- Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationship ensure repeat custom.
- Positive attitude working as a team and supporting colleagues.
- Working with and supporting cross departmental - design, engineers, purchasing, shop floor.
