The Front-Office Solution Delivery team has been leading the design, delivery and implementation of various products, solutions and websites built for Consumers, Customers, Influencers, Employees and Shareholders.
Our ambition is to be the digital leader in our industry and the D&T Product Owners play a crucial role in making this a reality. The Product Owners for DTC will be partner with Global Sales, Global and Local Brand/Marketing/Commercial teams, as well as various key stakeholders within the D&T team. They will be integral in scaling globally approved Diageo standards and delivering products and solutions across online, retail, and CRM.
Digital Commerce has been a significant growth channel for Diageo in, growing at 85% in value over the last year in some key markets. This channel is all about capturing the shopper shift to online shopping and driving incremental growth for Diageo through the execution of unique eCommerce activations, smarter consumer engagement, and truly creating omni-channel experiences. D&T Product Owner is an IT professional responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by a software Scrum team to ensure the agreed features and functionality of the product are built.
Responsible of specific front-office solutions and websites within the Consumer Product line for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region
Collaborate with our enterprise architecture team to satisfy the needs of the business today, while building capabilities for the future
In addition to managing relationships with the Brand and Marketing teams in Eastern EMEA, the Product Owners are Digital Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in emerging digital and ecommerce technologies and play an integral part of the process to fully leverage Diageo’s DTC technology stack
Partner with the business product owners in prioritization and delivery of the technical roadmap for respective brands, products, solutions, and websites
Lead the product functional design process based on knowledge of the users and technology in partnership with the global business product owner in line with Diageo’s enterprise architecture and information management and security guidelines

Solution Development:

Design Process, Data and Technology
Work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement
Provide high-quality documentation along the delivery cycle regarding process, technology, and data
Ensure our technology investments and products are well integrated across the Consumer Product line to create efficiency, enable growth and lower support costs
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of product or project development experience
At least 3 years of experience in product management and/or product development
Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles
Experience in Consumer Execution, Direct-to-Consumer, Digital, Marketing and Retail Technologies
