Our client is a highly renowned NFP organisation based in Leeds. They have endured a busy past 18 months and have provided essential services for a wide range of clients in the West Yorkshire area.
The Learning and Development Coordinator sits within a friendly and forward-thinking HR team who value development and progression. The organisation are mainly working remote with the requirement to attend their attractive offices for meetings and team-bondingoccasions, allowing greater work-life balance and flexibility.
**Description**
As a Learning and Development Coordinator, the overall objective will be to assist in the delivery of learning & development programmes that help to enhance the knowledge, skills and behaviours of staff, in order to drive improved performance and meet organisationalgoal.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Working in partnership with other HR colleagues and managers to oversee the delivery of the corporate training plan
- Working in partnership with Information Services to improve the range of available data and reporting on the HR system to develop meaningful analysis for the purposes of L&D
- Co-ordinating apprenticeship programmes and placements to maximise retention and completion rates
- Supporting organisation wide initiatives to improve the wellbeing and engagement of teams and individuals, as well as working with line managers to identify local issues requiring bespoke support or intervention
- Identify areas for the continual development of the L&D function, contributing to specific projects and initiatives and promoting these to enable successful roll-out and appropriate employee engagement
**Profile**
We're looking for someone with;
- Experience of undertaking learning needs analyses, establishing measurable learning outcomes and commissioning learning and development programmes to meet these
- Experience of setting up learning and development processes and procedures to ensure effective monitoring and analysis can be undertaken
- Ability to negotiate with a variety of learning and development providers and of working within partnership arrangements
- Experience of working as a partner with managers at all levels across the organisation
- Good problem analysis skills that allows identification of the need and development of an appropriate solution
- A good team player that influences and is respected by other members of the team and makes a significant contribution to the team in terms of helping it to achieve its objective
