Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our team as an Institutional Learning Coordinator. This role involves working 37 hours a week on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating education programs and promoting learning opportunities within the education department. Key responsibilities include researching new arrivals' educational backgrounds, administering basic skills assessments, and identifying learning difficulties. Additionally, you will develop and implement learning support plans in collaboration with teachers to ensure inclusive strategies across the curriculum.

  • A track record of working effectively with individuals presenting challenging behaviour is essential.
  • You will need to hold or be willing to work towards level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy within an agreed timescale.
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a level 2 or 3 qualification for Learning Support Practitioners within an agreed timescale.
