We are looking for a skilled, dedicated, and caring Health and Care Support Worker to work with our Client and his Team in Glossop. Our client’s support requires 2:1 24/7 day and night (waking night).

**Client**:
Our client is a gentleman in his early 30’s, he lives at home with a family member but has his own self-contained area for himself and his Team. He requires support with his clinical care needs and daily living needs on a 2:1 basis over 24 hours.

He enjoys spending time with his friends, family, and support team. He is a big Man Utd fan and enjoys watching all sports. He enjoys getting out and about in the community and loves watching films at the Cinema, particularly rom coms. He is a vibrant individual who likes to have banter with those in his life. You need to be comfortable around animals, as he has two family pet cats.

Throughout the day you will provide support with personal care, moving and handling, repositioning, support with his clinical care needs and assist him to enjoy his hobbies and interests.

Throughout the night you will provide support with personal care, continence care, clinical care needs and supporting a restful night.

It is important you have good interpersonal skills and understand his method of communication to understand his wants and needs, as he is non-verbal.

Rehabilitation is a key part of his clinical and care and support needs and you will work with the client, other professionals, and his team in his rehabilitation in areas of ventilation/trach, communication and nutrition and passive movement. Training will be provided.

Our ideal new team member will need a Valid Driver’s Licence as our client does have a vehicle you will be required to drive to support him to access the community.

**We have the following shifts available.**
- Days
- 3 Shifts Per Week
- Days - 7am-7pm
- There is opportunity to cover additional days when cover is needed and also for nighttime cover if this is of interest to you.
