**The Exciting Role**

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Teach BTEC and/or A Level Business and T Level Business delivering effective learning for students
- Lead the Business curriculum team and work alongside the Head of Division to ensure the division’s teaching, learning and assessment are of outstanding quality
- Take responsibility for achieving the section’s targets in retention, attendance, achievements, high grades, and student satisfaction
- Conduct staff reviews and learning walk activities to share best practice and develop teaching and learning across the team
- Hold regular curriculum team meetings and ensure effective communication across College
- Be up to date, plan and prepare high quality teaching, as required by your Line Manager, to the appropriate number of hours (180 hrs per annum remission)
- Liaise directly with external awarding bodies, as appropriate, regarding Quality Visits, moderation and CPD
- Effectively manage the behaviour of students and lead behaviour management across the team

**What We Are Looking For**:

- A recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment
- Experience of leading an area of the curriculum
- Knowledge of and proven ability to deliver the curriculum successfully
- Demonstrate a student centred approach to teaching and learning
