We are seeking a motivated and focused Corporate Insolvency - Degree Apprentice to join our team.
This opportunity is ideal for an individual looking to earn a degree while gaining practical experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring. The apprentice will work closely with experienced professionals, assisting with corporate insolvency cases, while concurrently pursuing a degree in a relevant field.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support in the administration of a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including liquidations, administrations, and receiverships.
- Learn and understand insolvency processes, procedures, and legislation as part of your degree studies.
- Assist senior insolvency practitioners in the preparation of statutory reports and documents.
- Help in conducting investigations into company affairs as part of the insolvency process.
- Assist the team in realizing assets, agreeing creditor claims, and making distributions.
- Contribute to the maintenance of case files and case progression databases, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Help in preparing for and attending creditor meetings as required.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Enrolment in a degree apprenticeship program in finance, accounting, law, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of insolvency law and procedures, or willingness to learn.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic project management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Professional demeanor and respect for confidentiality.
**Preferred Qualifications**
A-Level or equivalent in Business, Finance, Law or Accountancy would be advantegous.
**Work Environment**
This role will require standard office hours. Additional hours may be required for studying and during peak times. Supervision and training from a senior insolvency practitioner will be a part of this role.
