**Job Description**:
We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our prestigious university in Birmingham. While prior experience in Higher Education (HE), Education, or a similar public sector role would be ideal, it is not essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently managing administrative tasks and providing support to various departments within the university.- Taking initiative and being proactive in acquiring new knowledge and skills necessary for the role.- Maintaining a positive attitude and fostering excellent working relationships with colleagues, academic and clinical staff, as well as students.-
- Possessing good written communication skills to take minutes and notes during meetings.- Maintaining a methodical and organized approach to all assigned tasks.- Willingness to undertake various tasks, ranging from mundane and routine to those requiring greater responsibility.**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a higher education or public sector environment.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, offering support and assistance to colleagues as required.- Demonstrated initiative and ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and skills.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, academic and clinical staff, and students.-
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to take accurate minutes and notes during meetings.- Highly organized and methodical approach to work.- Flexible and adaptable, willing to undertake a wide range of tasks.This role is offering an excellent hourly rate of between £13.29-£14.40.
This is a full time position with working hours of 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.
