**Job Description**:
We are looking to grow our Europe & India Central Operations Team and currently have an opportunity for a Business & Project Support Apprentice to join us and work towards completing a ‘Level 2 in Business Administration’.

Our Europe & India Central Operations Team manage a diverse range of business projects, initiatives and suppliers which support the business in our region. With this role you will be exposed to projects as diverse as modernising our workplaces, managing suppliers of business projects, or developing business cases for new suppliers or initiatives. You will also learn how to handle some of the challenges of being an international business with around 10,000 employees.

+ Organising and recording minutes of meetings

+ Supporting the team in tracking workload and progress, and producing monthly updates

+ Updating and developing new documents to explain how systems and business processes work

+ Contributing to organising meetings and occasional events

+ Responding to staff queries and complaints

If you are successful in your first year you may have opportunities to progress to a Level 3 qualification, and to develop your responsibilities to include activities such as:
+ Developing draft communication documents for review

+ Completing analysis of business data

+ Presenting your work in business meetings

+ Chairing and leading meetings

+ Managing business initiatives

This role will combine work-based on-the-job training and learning with further studies and provides an opportunity to develop skills within a supporting environment which encourages challenge and collaborative behaviours.

Applicants must be willing to progress their career after an initial probationary period to undertake a day release course at an identified Further Education College to Business Administration Level 2.

In order to be considered for this position please provide the following.

**Qualifications**:
No experience is necessary, but the position is ideally suited to school leavers at either GCSE or A-Level standard (or equivalent) who can demonstrate:
+ Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade ‘C/4’ or above including Mathematics and English

+ Ability to record data efficiently and methodically with strong attention to detail

+ Excellent communication and report writing skills with computer skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

+ Hard working and highly motivated individual

+ Client focused with good interpersonal skills and team approach

+ Willing and able to visit other locations on company business (if necessary. AECOM will meet any travel costs)

+ Able to demonstrate a commitment to continued education and improvement through participating in our approved training scheme

+ Creative, practical, adaptable, and enthusiastic
