Job description
- Do you have a passion for making a difference and are you interested in developing your career in Regeneration? If yes, then Oxford City Council has an exciting opportunity to join the council as part of the Economy, City Centre & Green Transport Team. In the 2024-25 financial year, we will continue to progress an ambitious programme of projects affecting how people will get to and move around Oxford in future. The Greenways project, the Central Oxfordshire Movement & Place Framework and reopening the Cowley Branch Line to passengers are just some of the things you could be involved in.
- We are looking for someone who has some knowledge of delivery of projects and/or development, who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The role will include work on project ideas, business cases, engagement of stakeholders, funding bids and delivery of capital projects and is an opportunity to develop your career in regeneration. The team this role sits in works across the council and with external stakeholders to deliver complex capital projects that are not only delivered to time and budget but also are approached in a way to maximise the benefits to the city’s residents and businesses.
