This is a band 2 placement paying £11.45 per hour.
Working Monday to Friday 9:00-5:00

**About the Trust**
We provide mental health and learning disability care for people across Norfolk and Suffolk. We support a population of just over 1.6 million people and employ more than 4,700 staff. Our biggest bases are at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich, Wedgwood House, Bury St Edmunds and Woodlands Unit in Ipswich but our staff are based in more than 50 locations.
**What you will be responsible for**:
- **Manual handling of paper files, and boxes of paper files, from storage shelves to packing crates so that they can be sent to a new location.**
- **Checking each file as it comes from the shelf and following basic process to ensure that the files are correctly administered.**
- **All other administrative duties**
**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:
- Excellent communication skills
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Needs to be able to physically handle boxes containing health records on an all day, every day basis.
The manual handling in this role should be considered as an “all day every day” element and the post holders will spend a lot of their working day on their feet.
