**Allstaff Recruitment** are currently seeking a **Bid (Tender & Proposals)Manager** based in **Waterbeach** for a high-end heritage company.

**Salary**: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
**Location: **Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire
**Type of Contract**: Permanent, Full-time.
**Hours**: 36.25 hours working week, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:15pm

As the **Bid (Tender & Proposals) Manager** your role will involve the following important duties:

- Ensure the company's proposals and tenders are fully executed from start to finish.
- Read all live RFP/ITTs and create a report which illustrates the requirements, financials, weighting and deadlines.
- Prepare commercial tenders in line with public procurement standards.
- Complete proposal/bid and ensure sign off is received from relevant stakeholders.
- Submit/deliver bid presentations to existing and potential customers.
- Monitor tender and proposal opportunities and maintain a presence on/access to relevant portals.
- Maintain records of visibility of contract life cycle.
- Create/develop system/processes to manage tender/bid content for future usage.
- Responsible for procuring/creating/managing video/images/illustrations for use in proposals/tenders and marketing communications.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and seasonal KPI reports in relation to tender/contracts retained & won/lost, analysing results/working with teams to consider improvements.

As a successful **Bid (Tender & Proposals)Manager** you will have the following:

- Proven track record of project management, creating proposals, writing and managing tender responses, particularly within the private sector bidding for public service contracts.
- Solid understanding of the procurement function priorities and constraints.
- Educated to Bachelors Degree level or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years experience working within a graduate role.
- Experience in tender bid preparation, RFP management and general project management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong IT skills with working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM databases.
