**JOB TITLE: SHUTDOWN MATERIALS SPECIALIST**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Building and maintaining relationships with 3rd party suppliers as well as client meetings / visits to onsite facilities to review and monitor third party supplied goods / material legislative compliance documentation.
- Acting as focal point for suppliers and all Petrofac departments for queries or discrepancies on material scheduling, fabrication, and quality.
- Ability to manage own workload to ensure high standards are not compromised.
- Ability to adapt under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Actively drives continuous improvement.
- Preparing material trackers for the control and full visibility of all materials required and that they have been purchased for each work scope within the shutdown.
- Accessing purchase requisitions & PO’s from Oracle Cloud.
- Accessing all material documentation from engineering documentation.
- Ensuring goods / materials are received and dispatched from Petrofac’s onshore storage facility to the required installation in a safe, timely, and efficient manner in compliance with all relevant legislative and company requirements.
- Creating purchase reports to track all purchased items due for offshore shipment.
- Ensuring materials and equipment have the necessary certification.
- Ensuring relevant stores/warehouse personnel are aware of deliveries and that they allocate space for goods on arrival.
- Chasing suppliers to ensure goods and materials are delivered on time to meet business needs.
- Prepares reports on material receipts and delivery.
- Prepare reports on the performance of suppliers.
- Ensuring purchase orders are released, shipped and receipted in a timely manner.
- Carry out offshore visits to the installations and onshore storage facilities.
- Attend kick off, planning and client meetings.
- Identify potential risks that may arise and highlighting these issues to the Shutdown Coordinator and Operations Manger
- Organize vendor / hire equipment to be sent and returned in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Support management of change, following ‘change in scope’ processes and working with the team to assess, review and solve impacts on all aspects of the work scopes.

- Clear, fluent and expressive use of verbal and written language to convey information and ideas.
- Requirement to raise any nonconformance to supervisor in timely fashion.
- PLANNING:

- Ability to co-ordinate with all departments to ensure accurate control of materials onboard the installation.
- COST/BUDGET:

- Awareness of budget and schedule requirements.
- Ability to provide guidance and motivation to co-workers.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Educated to Degree Level standard or equivalent industry experience.
- Previous experience in offshore / onshore & Shutdown materials control
- Previous experience in Maintenance Management / Stock Holding Systems.
- Previous leadership experience.
