**Position Purpose**
An exciting Events Co-ordinator position has become available in our growing events team. The role involves the effective planning and management of both internal and external events including Weddings, Conferences, Corporate golf days and social events to name but a few. This is a varied and rewarding position that will involve working closely with our food & beverage team to ensure events are delivered to the Luxury Collection standard, whilst maximizing revenues through up-selling products and services.

**Essential Functions**
- Ensuring all summaries and banquet event orders are both produced and signed off by the client in a timely manner.
- To ensure that all relevant information is communicated to all departments prior to and during the event. Manage last minute changes through change log and verbal communication with relevant personnel in an accurate and timely manner.
- Effectively managing all weddings enquiries from the sales process to the final planning preparations for the big day
- To maintain a high level of guest telephone contact skills and written correspondence skills while promoting the resort, food & beverage outlets, health spa and golf departments through good selling and communication skills.

**Qualification Standards**
- Must be eligible to work within the UK
- Must be able to communicate comfortably in both written and spoken English
- A qualification in Events Management / Hospitality is preferred
- Must be proactive and able to work within a team as well as individually
- Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills
- Previous experience within a similar role is preferred
