**Director of Sales & Marketing**

The diversity of the product offering encompasses a luxury hotel, championship golf and spa resort, self-catering cottages & apartments and group lodge accommodation across the grounds of the 800-acre resort. Trump Turnberry is owned and managed by the Trump Organisation.

**POSITION PURPOSE**

As an active member of the resort’s Executive Committee, the Director of Sales and Marketing at Trump Turnberry, A Luxury Collection Resort will be responsible for the creation and deployment of our commercial strategy, executing the Resort Sales and Marketing plan with the overall objective of driving revenue. You will provide leadership to the Resort’s reactive and proactive sales channels, ensuring all activity is aligned to the Resort’s goals and objectives.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Lead and manage all group, transient and catering/banqueting sales activities to maximise revenue for the Resort
- Identify shot, medium and long term goals to support the Resort objectives
- Provide analysis of market trends and intelligence, creating action plans and using to inform strategy
- Take a leading role in identifying and forming relationships with key agents in the Luxury market in order to promote the resort
- Take accountability for the attainment of revenue goals
- Create and implement a marketing strategy and initiatives, adhering to the brand standards
- Coordinate and oversee PR strategy; ensuring consistency in all communications
- Lead and inspire Sales and Marketing ambassadors to achieve all revenue goals and ensuring their understanding of the importance of their contribution to the success of the Resort
- Take a proactive approach to leadership; observing the performance and behaviours of Sales and Marketing ambassadors and offering coaching and support at every opportunity
- Manage/direct all advertising, public relations and promotional activities.
- Participate as team player with other key Executive Committee members

**QUALIFICATION STANDARDS**
- The ability to communicate freely in local language is essential
- Significant experience of the hospitality industry and knowledge of luxury markets is essential
- Proven track record of increasing revenue
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Ability to lead and motivate a team with a desire to work as part of the team and contribute effectively
- Ability to leverage and influence internal stakeholders and prospective clients
- Experience in calculating risk and mitigating any potential issues to the business
- Drive to meet and exceed goals and targets
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure
