Could you be a Sense Community Support Worker?
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Communicator Guide (Community Support Worker) to join our team in Stourbridge.
This is a permanent role, working 16 hours per week. For Communicator Guide (Community Support Worker) role, you will receive £10.75 per hour.
This is a fun and rewarding opportunity to support a young person who has Autism and Visual Impairment to access the community for social and leisure purposes.
As a Communicator Guide, you will be supporting the person to participate in activities they enjoy and have meaningful experiences. You will support them to make their own choices of how they want to spend their day, but a typical day in this role might be spent:
Taking a trip into Birmingham City Centre to explore and visit some of the attractions
Taking a walk around the park
Enjoying listening to music
The role available is 16 hours which will be split across 4 hours for 4 days from Monday to Friday. The precise working hours are flexible, and can be mutually agreed with the individual.

To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.

**Your required skills and experiences**:
You require a full UK license and must be willing to drive your own vehicle (Mileage paid 0.45 pence per mile).
Previous experience working with people with Sensory Impairments is desirable. Why work for Sense?
