Edinburgh, United Kingdom NatWest Group Full time

Our people work differently depending on their jobs and needs. From hybrid working to flexible hours, we have plenty of options that help our people to thrive.

This role is based in the United Kingdom and as such all normal working days must be carried out in the United Kingdom.

Join us as a Programme Officer
- In this key role, you’ll have the chance to make a tangible impact on our function and help in embedding a ‘one bank’ approach to achieve brilliant outcomes for our customers
- We’re about to deliver the largest conduct and regulatory change initiative in over a decade - and we’re looking for an experienced programme officer to help us
- Joining our Consumer Duty programme, you’ll support project governance and control, including tracking the performance and progress of projects, project financial control and adoption that will be fundamental to our success in embedding the Financial Conduct Authority’s new Consumer Duty across NatWest Group
- This is a great opportunity to take on this exciting, fast paced role, and advance your career with us

**What you'll do**:
As our Programme Officer, guided by the overarching principles of the FCA’s new Consumer Duty, you’ll improve the planning and delivery process by collecting and maintaining data in a consistent form, helping us achieve great outcomes for our 19 million customers through a ‘one bank’ approach.

‘One bank’ means setting each other up to win by thinking of solutions that could work across NatWest Group. It means being generous with our time so that everybody benefits and challenging each other to think further. Because when everyone thrives, we can move faster, we can solve multiple problems in one go, and we can do so in a way that means updates and changes in the future will be easier to do.

Your top priorities will include:

- Providing diary management and project support
- Developing guidelines and templates to collect and maintain project data
- Creating and updating project plans and other project documentation
- Identifying and tracking cross-project dependencies
- Implementing and providing regular progress reporting

**The skills you'll need**:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need project or programme support experience, and knowledge of the different project methodologies and project lifecycle.

You’ll also demonstrate:

- Working knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Office, Planview, Oracle and SharePoint
- Knowledge of organisational processes and procedures
