An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Eating Disorders Service as an administration assistant. The role is to provide an overall admin service to support the inpatients and outpatients team in Stafford.

To provide admin support to the Eating Disorders service who deliver care to both inpatients and outpatients.

You will be working within a mental health setting and required to provide admin support to the team secretaries, inpatient and the community team.

**The main key skills and experience we require are as follows**:
- Relevant experience of working in an office environment.

Relevant experience of undertaking office procedures with mínimal supervision.

Working with the public/experience of customer service.

Proficient keyboard skills and use of Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

Provide a full range of office tasks including filing, photo copying and scanning.

Ordering of supplies/provisions monitoring stock.

Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a polite and efficient manner.

The successful applicant will provide an administrative service to Eating Disorders in Stafford. The main duties include dealing with day-to-day queries, providing a full range of office support including scanning, filing, printing, using electronic systems to support with provisions orders as well as dealing with telephone queries and message-taking.
1. Administrative support to the Eating Disorder team.
2. Act as the first point of contact for health professionals.
3. Attend patient meetings.
4. Provide a full range of office support systems including photocopying, distribution and archive filing (both hard copy and electronic), scanning and assisting other staff in the use of the Multi-Function Device (MFD).
5. Opening, sorting post and prioritising correspondence, preparing and collating documents.
6. Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a polite and efficient manner. Receive and deal with telephone enquiries, referring telephone queries to a more senior colleague where appropriate. Taking accurate messages and relaying them to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
7. Logging calls with the Trust’s Service Desk for IT issues, building repairs, works etc.
8. Prioritise own workload and meet deadlines in order to meet the requirements of the post.
9. Monitor central supplies/provisions and order after discussion with line manager.
10. To have proficient keyboard skills and use Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook competently.
11. Accurately maintain and keep secure patient health and staff records/systems in line with policy and standard operating procedure, to ensure data quality, confidentiality and compliance with the current Data Protection Law
12. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding information concerning patients, staff and sensitive Trust Business at all times.
13. Communicate effectively and professionally on all levels.
14. Provide flexible administrative cover as required to meet the needs of the service.
