**Credit Controller, London, Hybrid - 6 month Fixed Term Contract £30,000 - £35,000**

Trace are pleased to be partnered with a leading professional services firm specialising in construction, property and infrastructure projects. They have a rich history spanning several decades and have earned a reputation for delivering excellence in project management, design, engineering and consultancy services.

They are seeking a highly motivated and detail orientated Credit Controller to join their finance team. As a Credit Controller you will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s receivables and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts from clients and customers. This position require a combination of financial acumen and strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively pursue the collection of outstanding invoices and debts, ensuring prompt payment in accordance with agreed terms and conditions
- Maintain professional and effective communication with clients regarding payment issues, invoice discrepancies and payment plans
- Provide excellent customer services
- Generate accurate invoices and statements ensuring all necessary information is included and that invoices are delivered
- Identify potential credit risks
- Monitor and report on cash flow and outstanding receivables
- Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports relating to credit control, age reports, collection progress
- Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients to facilitate smoother payment processes and problem resolution

**Experience**
- Previous experience in Credit Control
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
